This test case is used for validating the components of an EPC or an eNB for a valid attach procedure.
In this test case, ABot can simulate the eNB and UE and any other node of the 4G EPC like MME, SGW, PDN-GW, HSS and PCRF. The eNB and UE sends an Initial Attach request message with a valid IMSI value. The eNB and UE receives an Attach Accept message, in an ideal case. The attach procedure is done with NAS Integrity Algorithm ie. UE has valid security parameters, the Attach Request message shall be integrity protected by the NAS-MAC in order to allow validation of the UE by the MME.
The scenario executed in this test case is Initial Attach with IMSI and PDN Connectivity Request.
