This test case is used for validating the behaviour of MME when eNB sends Attach Request with Identity type to IMEI, Attach Type “Emergency” and UE network capability IE set to EIA0.
The IMEI (International Mobile Station Equipment Identity) is an international “Serial number” for identifying devices on the carriers network.
This test case is used for validating the behaviour of MME when eNB sends Attach Request with Identity type to IMEI, Attach Type “Emergency” and UE network capability IE set to EIA0.
The pre-requisites of this test is MME is configured to support Emergency Attach and “All UEs are allowed” settings. UE initiates the Emergency Attach Procedure.
In this test case, ABot simulated eNB sends Initial UE Message with initial Attach Request with Identity type to IMEI, Attach Type “Emergency” and UE network capability IE set to EIA0. The MME, which is the SUT, skips Authentication procedure and sends Security Mode Command message.
