This test case is for validating S1 Setup Response when Tracking Area Code is unknown and is used for validating both MME and eNB.

The tracking area code (TAC) identifies a tracking area within a particular network.

This test case is for validating S1 Setup Response when Tracking Area Code is unknown and is used for validating both MME and eNB.

In this test case the eNodeB sends an S1 SETUP REQUEST message to MME, with unknown Tracking Areas. After receiving a S1 SETUP REQUEST message from eNodeB with unknown Tracking Area Code in Supported Tracking Areas, the MME responds with a S1 SETUP FAILURE.

For validating the scenario of S1-Set Up response for an unknown Tracking Area Code in an MME the 3GPP procedure of S1-Set-up is executed.

This test case can be also used for stress testing by simulating multiple eNBs, UEs and MMEs.
